How to say it

Main stress lands on the first particle: get OUT of. The trailing “of” reduces almost to nothing — expect a schwa, not a full vowel.

The /t/ flaps. Between vowels, American /t/ and /d/ both become a quick tap, so “get out” comes out as “ge-dout” — closer to a fast D than a T.

To avoid a duty you were supposed to do.
