Recommendations:

• General American — best for business, broadcasting, and being understood everywhere
• Californian — great for entertainment industry and West Coast culture
• Southern — warm and friendly, great for connecting in the South
• NYC — energetic and direct, authentic for the Northeast
• Midwestern — friendly and approachable, good for the heartland
